Obverse: 
The face side of the coin consists of leafs composition. To the left the inscription «500 ТЕҢГЕ» indicates the face value of the coins, «Ag 925 31,1 gr.» means metal, standard of coinage and weight. National Bank of Kazakhstan logo is depicted on the upper section. On the circumference there are two inscriptions «ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ» and «NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN».
Reverse: 
The back side of the coin shows the composition of flax flowers, one of them is depicted as a hologram. To the right on the circumference there are the name of species «ОЛЬГА ЗЫҒЫРЫ» in Kazakh and «LINUM OLGAE» in Latin as well as year of coinage «2008» with trade mark of Kazakhstan mint.
