Date of issue: October 1, 2003. Jubilee silver coins, devoted to 10 years of national currency introduction.
Obverse:
Image of 5000 tenge banknote is on the face of the coin with the face and underside image of Jubilee Coin for 10th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and 'Ag 925 67.25g' legend meaning coin metal and its grade including the weight. Two lines 'ТЕҢГЕГЕ 10 ЖЫЛ' Kazakh legend is in the upper section. '2003' meaning the engraved year is in the bottom part.Logo of the RK National Bank is to the left of '2003' and trademark of the Kazakhstani Mint is to the right. Prominent binding is on the circumference.
Reverse:
Image of the National Flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan made with the use of blue enamel and gold is in the center of the face of the coin. Element of the national ornament and two lines 'ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ' Kazakh legend are in the upper sector of the coin. Two lines '1000 ТЕҢГЕ' legend is in the bottom part meaning the nominal value of the coin. Prominent binding is on the circumference.
