The commemorative coin is issued by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia and dedicated to the FIRST PAN - ARMENIAN CONGRESS ARMENIA - DIASPORA (Yerevan, September 22-23, 1999). First Pan-Armenian Congress dedicated to the Armenia - Diaspora relations is an event of a major importance for the whole Armenian society worldwide. It is called to discuss and to clear the national problems of Armenians as well as to determine the ways for their unanimous solutions. Representatives of Armenian communities from about 70 countries will participate in the Congress.
