The goitred gazelle is the second coin in the series «The Red Book of Kyrgyzstan». This series represents rare animals and plants critically endangered.

Obverse: 
The main subject of the coin is the image of the goitred gazelle with its cub struck in the technology of local gold-plating. There are also inscriptions on the obverse: the name of the coin in the Kyrgyz language, the Latin name of the species, the fineness and weight (Ag 925/28, 28) and the face value of the coin (10 som).
Reverse: 
There are stylized images of wildlife of Kyrgyzstan, the series’ name, the coat of arms and the year of issue (2013).
