On the occasion of hosting the Final tournament of the Euro 2012 Football Championship, which will be held from 8 June to 1 July, the National Bank of Ukraine issues into circulation a series of commemorative coins devoted to this Championship.
This series consists 11 coins, including coins made of gold, silver and German silver as well as a circulation coin of 1 hryvnia face value. All the coins will bear the official Euro 2012 logo, as the National Bank of Ukraine hasreceived permission to use the official symbols of this championship.
