The jubilee coin of 2 Hryvnias denomination is dedicated to 80 Years since the historic event of the declaration of Zluka (Unification) of Ukrainian People's Republic with the Western Ukrainian People's Republic of January 22, 1919. In circulation since January 18, 1999.

On the coin obverse there is a depiction of the Small State Emblem of Ukraine, ornamented like folk murals. Around the coin circumference, there are inscriptions: УКРАЇНА, 2 ГРИВНІ, 1999.
Reverse: 
On the coin reverse there are an image of a Ukrainian woman from Heorhyi Narbut's illustration for "Mystetstvo" magazine, the emblems of UPR and WUPR (draft).
