100 Years of the National Mining Academy of Ukraine

The coin is dedicated to 100th Anniversary of the National Mining Academy of Ukraine in the city of Dnipropetrovsk, which was founded as Katerynoslav High Mining School. In circulation since June 10, 1999.

On the coin obverse there are the Small State Emblem of Ukraine in the middle of the beads circumference decoration, framed with guelder-rose sprays and the conventionalized inscriptions: УКРАЇНА, 2 ГРИВНІ, 1999.
Reverse: 
On the coin reverse there is a depiction of the Academy main building's facade (architect O.Beketov, 1900) and the following inscriptions: 100 РОКІВ and НАЦІОНАЛЬНА ГІРНИЧА АКАДЕМІЯ УКРАЇНИ.
