The Board of the Bank of Lithuania approved the results of the tender of graphic designs of the 50 litas collector (commemorative) silver coin dedicated to the 150^th birth anniversary of Gabriele Petkevicaitė-Bite. The first place was given to the designs of Rimantas Eidejus. Also, the Board approved the inscription on the edge of the coin: AD ASTRA (three times).

The National Bank of Belarus on November 10th, 2010 puts into circulation new silver and CuNi commemorative coins sailing ship "Constitution".

Face value of the silver coin is 20 rubles, purity 925, weight 28.28 g, diameter 38.61 mm, briliant uncirculated quality. Coin is made using hologram technology. Mintage 7000 pcs.
Face value of the CuNi coin is 1 ruble, weight 13.16 g, diameter 32 mm, briliant uncirculated quality. Mintage 3000 pcs.

The Board of the Bank of Lithuania approved the sample commemorative 50 litas silver coin featuring the Lithuanian nature.

The graphic design of this coin was created by Vytautas Narutis and the plaster model was made by Giedrius Paulauskis. The sample was minted by UAB ,,Lietuvos monetu kalykla“ (Lithuanian Mint).

The Board of the Bank of Lithuania approved the graphic design of the obverse and reverse of the 10 litas collector (commemorative) silver coin dedicated to the theatre, submitted by Giedrius Paulauskis. The author used a well-known piece of art Teatras created by Stasys Krasauskas, a famous Lithuanian graphic artist in 1961.

The Board of the Bank of Lithuania decided to order the production of a numismatic set of circulation coins of the 2011 issue. The set will be composed of 10 ct, 20 ct, 50 ct, 1 litas, 2 litas and 5 litas denomination circulation coins. The mintage is planed to make up 4500 units.
