The National Bank of Kazakhstan has put into circulation gold 500 tenge "Kurmangazy" coin from coin series "Portraits on banknotes" on June 7th, 2013.
The portrait of the national composer Kurmangazy was placed on the face side of banknote of 5 tenge denomination of the 1993 sample. Currently the banknote is withdrawn from circulation.
National Bank of Kazakhstan issued commemorative gold coin "Baiturrahman Mosque" under "Famous Mosques of the World" coin series on June 7th 2013.
Baiturrahman Mosque is located in the center of the city Banda Aceh, Aceh Province, Indonesia (the north of Sumatra Island). The Mosque is of great symbolic significance for the people of the Province as a symbol of religion and culture; moreover, the mosque has survived the destructive tsunami of 2004 and remained undamaged.

On 10th June, the Bank of Latvia issued a new 1-lats circulation coin with the kokle featured on the reverse. The coin has been designed by artist Anna Heinrihsone and modelled by sculptor Ligita Franckeviča. The new 1-lats coins were struck at the German mint Staatliche Münze Baden-Württemberg.
On Monday, 3 June, at the time when the 200th anniversary of Richard Wagner, the world famous German composer, is widely celebrated all over the world, the Bank of Latvia issued a collector coin dedicated to him: it also commemorates Wagner's active life period in Riga when he began work at his first important opera "Rienzi". The coin has been designed by Aigars Ozoliņš (obverse) and Ivo Grundulis (reverse), and modelled by Ligita Franckeviča. The coin was struck by Koninklijke Nederlandse Munt (the Netherlands).
